Peru’s Congress goes live with integrated Mediaflex MAM and Amplify AI solution

Video Broadcast delivers a turnkey audiovisual environment combining Amplify’s Seiri AI with TMD’s Mediaflex to transform media management, discovery and production

Peru Congress project

Barcelona, Spain – September 4, 2026 – The Congress of the Republic of Peru has gone live with a new integrated audiovisual production and media management environment delivered by Video Broadcast S.A., bringing together TMD’s Mediaflex Media Asset Management platform and Amplify’s Seiri AI technology. The new system provides the Congress’s Television Channel with an integrated environment spanning content ingest, media management, production, search, access and digital archive workflows. The project forms part of a wider turnkey modernisation of the Channel’s audiovisual production infrastructure.

Mediaflex and Seiri AI bring audiovisual media management and AI together

At the heart of the solution, Mediaflex provides the central media management layer, bringing audiovisual assets and their associated metadata under consistent control throughout the content lifecycle. It connects ingest, content management, production and archive workflows, enabling users to organise, find, access and reuse media more effectively. Metadata generated during ingest is integrated into the MAM, making media management a central part of the overall workflow rather than a standalone repository. Seiri adds AI-driven enrichment and intelligent discovery to that environment. Capabilities including automated transcription, image-to-text processing and facial recognition generate richer metadata that can be used directly within Mediaflex to make audiovisual content easier to identify and retrieve.

Video Broadcast integrates Mediaflex and Seiri AI for the Peru Congress

Video Broadcast, the prime contractor responsible for the turnkey delivery, selected both TMD’s Mediaflex MAM and Amplify Software’s Seiri AI for the project. The choice was based not only on the strength of each solution independently, but also on the depth of their integration and the advanced level of media management they deliver in combination. AI-generated metadata becomes part of the wider content-management workflow, creating a unified environment for managing, discovering and working with media.

Now fully operational, the solution provides a modern foundation for day-to-day production as well as the management of the Congress’s substantial audiovisual holdings, which include approximately 160 TB of existing historical media.

Executive comments

Raul Soriano, Video Broadcast, said:

“Our goal was to deliver much more than a collection of individual technologies. We chose TMD’s Mediaflex and Amplify’s Seiri because each is a strong solution in its own right, but especially because of what they can achieve together. Now in operation, their integration gives the Congress a highly advanced media management environment, combining structured content management with AI-driven enrichment and discovery in a seamless workflow.”

Aaron Lopez, Amplify Software, said:

“AI delivers the greatest value when it becomes part of the way media teams actually work. By integrating Seiri closely with Mediaflex, the metadata and insights generated by AI flow directly into the wider content-management environment rather than sitting in a separate application. The result is a powerful and practical model for organisations looking to unlock more value from their media.”

Sachie Bristow, TMD, said:

“Mediaflex provides the management foundation that brings content, metadata, production and archive workflows together. The integration with Seiri takes that further by making AI-generated metadata immediately available and useful within the MAM. This deployment demonstrates how modern media management can turn large audiovisual collections into a much more accessible and valuable resource for production teams.”
